PENGland: Really big figures for a bank.

PENGland is an agency that designs “unforgettable experiences for trade fairs, events, and space.” The 125th anniversary of a Swiss bank gave rise to the idea of marking the occasion by producing room sculptures for the bank’s headquarters and anniversary pillars for all branch offices. PENGland’s first question to teamtischer was: “How is it possible to produce numeral sculptures that are still mobile in spite of their size?” This may sound like a simple question but it ultimately proved to be quite a complex challenge to bring to fruition. For example, it was necessary to comply with strict specifications regarding fire load and structural stability. The results speak for themselves. The numeral sculptures built by the teamtischer professionals using high-density painted polystyrene on acrylic base plates fit seamlessly in with the cool ambiance of the customer foyer. Thanks to their mobility, they were also used as stage decorations during the bank’s official anniversary celebrations. Thanks to the cleverly designed Plexiglas® showcase, the three-sided anniversary pillars found in all of the bank’s branches can be individualized with topics relating to the bank’s anniversary. Outcome: PENGland satisfied, bank overjoyed!
