This is the artistic highpoint of the “Appearance of Beauty” exhibition, using the cathedral-like magnificence of the Gasometer Oberhausen as the starting point for a fascinating interplay between shapes and light. Within a radius of 320 degrees, graphic patterns grow and change on the 100-meter inside wall of the venue. Projecting onto an area of almost 20,000 m², the installation is one of the largest and most technically sophisticated indoor projections worldwide. The complex task of keeping this installation working flawlessly for months on end was entrusted to Sven Mölleken and teamtischer. With a reaction time of under three hours, the technicians maximize the operational reliability of the complex installation.
