Moving on up since 2005
teamtischer was founded in the German city of Moers in 2005, originally operating under the name tischer & theisen GmbH. The following year, the company moved to Silbersee – in a location that is used as a campus today – and renamed itself teamtischer GmbH.
Production in Shanghai from 2008
Additional production capacity was needed. Our customers put their trust in teamtischer’s expert services and we met this challenge by setting up an additional production facility for manufacturing high-quality components in Shanghai. Since 2008, teamtischer has produced sophisticated, system-compatible retail solutions for a highly enthusiastic market.
Expansion of warehousing capacity in 2009 with Martin Tischer as sole owner
The flourishing order situation called for warehousing capacity to be expanded. At the same time, Martin Tischer acquired 100% of shares in teamtischer GmbH.
Expansion to Switzerland in 2012
Looking after our customers in Switzerland required us to establish greater proximity to that market. Since 2012, teamtischer AG has been based in Pfäffikon, in the Swiss canton of Schwyz, where it responds to this customer challenge in the efficient, flexible way that they associate with teamtischer.
The milestone – new company headquarters in 2014
2014 saw the company relocate its design, administration, and production departments – which had been working under increasingly cramped conditions at its Silbersee location – to Carl-Zeiss-Straße in Moers, shortening communication channels and providing ample space for production. The warehouse was also centralized on an area totaling 15,000 m².
Looking ahead to the future
Our customers’ challenges are growing all the time. In 2016, we began to plan a new extension on our space reserves in Moers, a forward-looking move that is putting an extra spring in our step.
As can be seen from our company name, the team aspect is central to the way we live and the way we work at teamtischer.
